Im playing against a team which has been bookied as up against it, so it timewastes the whole match how can I counteract this? Everything I try seems to be pointless because of a super keeper or a poxy 4-5-1 from the AI

Theres ways to counter this. You just have to bi more specific. It happens to me a lot. Be aware though that sometime it work to time-waste. And if you players cant finnish theres nothing you can do about it as a manager.

I usually play quicker and more direct against such teams to try and force them to move. A deeper defensive line and wider width can encourage them out of their shell.

But please: there is no such thing as a superkeeper. Pet hate.

Probe them with a slow tempo and lots of width.
