The thing is I want to play a narrow 4-1-3-2 formation away from home to frustrate the opposition but obviously counter attacking may be my only outlet in terms of goals. Has anyone tried counter attacking through the middle? How did it work?

I've tried it lower league with a pacey striker set as target man, with supply set to "run onto ball." It was devastating.
Think I played deep with direct passing and quick tempo too.

i play 4-3-1-2, counter against good teams, home and away,beat barca 4-0 home, 5-2 away, always through the middle

sorry forgot to say im rangers, 4 leagues in a row, 2 champions leagues in a row, 4 scottish cups in a row, 3 of 4 league cups and euro cup 1st season

no.counter attacking no through the middle.And no target man.You must have quick strikers
