Using minimal Fuss v4 tactic i've guided cambridge city to the dizzy heights of the prem. The ground capacity is still 12500 (8000 seated) though.

Every season i'm requesting that the board increase capacity and the funds are there to do it. Everytime they agree and everytime i get a message saying that permission has been refused.

With such a small ground the income is much lower than other clubs, which means i'm going to struggle to compete, espically as i eventually want to be in europe.

Have i simply taken them as far as i can or will they eventually build a new stadium. Is there some sort of stadium generator in the game or is it only possible if say like arsenal in 06 you already had a stadium being built.

If it is possible how can i make it happen asap.

If they have agreed it may be that the council is blocking the application- do the club own the stadium? The quickest way is to use the FMM save game editor to increase the capacity gradually every season- i.e not from 12000 to 70000 at the one go.

That's exactly the problem, the council blocking the application. I didn't want to use an editor though, i find that if i use an editor it feels like i've cheated and then the game and any future achievements seem a little pointless and i'll lose interest quickly. Any other suggestions?

I´ve got the same problem with Saturn in Russia.I´ve more than 100 million € for transfers,but the council blocks the stadium every year.Is there any way to change this?

On this instance you should not feel like you cheated man. Think of yourself as a good bug fixer.

I led Mansfield to the Premiership in like 5 years and the average attendance went up by maybe 10%.

Good shout fuzzynut, i'd rather the game did it for me but for now i'm going to increase the expansion capacity in the editor, that way i'll still be cahrged for stadium expansion and it should still increase at a realistic rate. I'm fairly sure it will stop the council interfering, will post again if it doesn't.
