scoring from free kicks

i've had a search for this but didn't come up with much, can someone please tell me a tactic for scoring from free kicks?

Direct freekicks are bugged.
The shots always hit the wall, sometimes they get deflected and you score.
Even when you have a worldclass player like pirlo to shot, he just cant score

Dammit..I wondered why I hadn't scored a single DFK in my last season.. :thdn:

First season Pirlo only scored 3 goals on direct freekick. Pirlo got; 20 freekick, 15 longshot, 14 finishing, 18 composure and 18 technique.

Good news is that SI know about this bug, and it should be fixed in the upcomming patch

How many a season does Pirlo score in real life from Free Kicks?

I also rarely score from direct fks. But IDFK's are going nicely with v/d vaart aiming at the best header

i dont know about you, well actually i do haha
but i scored 12 dfk's in my first season with liverpool
matias fernandez scored 7
van der vaart scored 5

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
