I am trying to make the best team of all post-patch (8.0.1) bargains. I am using only players priced up to 500k or so. Please let me know your bargain starting eleven, or where you can suggest changes to mine:

GK: Jourdren (need options here)
DL: Sepsi (good player for pretty much free)
DC: Sabic (free, and very low wage requirements)
DC: Andronic (see Sabic)
DR: I have nothing here, possibly Sorin from Kalmar
ML: Mihelic (excellent)
MC: Dzsudzsak (super)
MC: Piatti is an excellent offensive force, but I need more defensive qualities here
MR: Torje (obviously, but he can becoma very expensive on the 8.0.1 patch, I need cheaper guys here)
FC: Stancu (wow)
FC: Kostadinov is ok, but not quite up there with Stancu

GK - Oier Olazabal & Dean Bouzanis (both can be got for little compensation although Bouzanis is a little more at around 700K). Barthez is free at the start of the game as well.

MC - You can get Daniel Carvalho for around 600K at the start with a few clauses. He's very good for the Championship clubs atleast.

FC - Saivet must be up there with the best. In 2-3 years, he's unstoppable.

DR - Marvin Angulo can be bought for less than 500K at the start of the game. And he turns out excellent.

DC - I've bought Cristopher Samba for as little as 700K at the start. Bargain! Ofcourse there's Ignashevich free at the start.

ML - I think you can pick up Fran Merida for less than 500K at the start and he turns out awesome in a couple of years time.

Here's a 3,08mil euro team that can definitely keep you in premiership, and even involve in the euro-battle in a few seasons.

Good replies, all of you, although some are above my budget.

The players I need should have EU-passports and not require higher wages than about 2.5 K per week. I guess that rules out quite a few of the suggestions in this thread?

I am thrilled to try out Rudolph Austin, Bjarnason and Agouda.

I'm using 8.0.0 so I don't know, but Lauri Dalla Valle is my bargain master.

He is absolutely fantastic and he's still 20 in my game! Just placed me in the semifinals of the Spanish Cup.

On the players quoted, actually Daniel Carvalho is THE star of my Real Sociedad squad who is fighting to establish itself as the 3rd force in Spanish football after the giants and at close range from Valencia.

And although Ignashevich is a regular in my team, he was a bit of a disappointment.

You can get Barazite for MUCH less, like 28k.

Old (36) but still very good for the lower leagues - I bought him for £5k for Wycombe Wanderers.

Has so far been fantastic.

DC - Cor Gillis. Can get him for like £50k
GK - Yann Sommer. Around £500k tops, has lots of 20 stats
