spurs fan here but that dont matter, its been a disgrace as to whats happened to him with his work permit issues! lad to see that some people have some common sense yet i feel its a bit late.
dont get me wrong, im not one for people comming over her and living of the state but this was totally different. Im sure that through watford that he did charitable things, and payed his taxes so 'hats of' to him for that.
So, dare i say as a spurs fan, good luck watford (we need a 6pointer nxt season if you come up lol, sorry Miles)
Nothing to do with common sense. He did not qualify for asylum so his legal people applied for a work permit. He has been a player near the top leagues in England for 3 years so it was granted. It was always likely to be granted.
Had it not been he would NOT have been kicking around in Sierra Leone, but probably playing in France...not sure how comp would have been determined. No real prob for him, but Watford have done well out of it.
I think it's brilliant for the lad, just had a child not long ago, hes got a young family, hes a decent young player.
Felt so sorry for him, when he was crying whilst thanking the watford fans for their support a few weeks back.
It's people like Al that should be allowed to stay. I cannot believe they even tried kicking him out when theres people coming over here on banana boats and just commiting crimes.
