I'm starting my 5th season with Barca. I'll just make it clear that Barca are worth over 1.1 Bil at this point (as I've made a lot of investments/sales and not spent too much).
I snapped up Wijnaldum for free in season 1 and been training him with 7star coaches. I loaned him out to R.Madrid last season (season 4), and he played every game 1st 11 (leaving others such as Ronaldinho on the bench). He was included in the Spanish team of the season.
He is 20 years old, valued at 16.5M, and is in Holland's 1st 11 now.
So R.Madrid made an offer of £22M + Sneijder (worth £12.5M). I negotiated this to 40M over 12 months + 40M after 1 international appearance + 50% of next sale. They made that offer. After long consideration, I declined. Then I offered him to Madrid once more this time asking for:
£40M over 6 months + £40M after 1 international appearance + £40M after 10 league goals + 50% of next sale. And yet again they accepted. I wanted to see what's the most they'd offer and this is it. They wont bid more.
So should I sell for:
£40M (over 6 months) + £40M (after the next int. cap) + £40M after 10 league goals + 50% of next sale (TOTAL OFFER £120M + 50% of next transfer)?
I was curious, and I checked FMM for his PA, it's 177, and his CA is 176. So he's pretty much at his best.
Silva, who is 5 years older has a PA of 191, and I can buy him for around £55M.
Keep in mind, I'm not in desperate need of money, and I'll be selling him to my rivals. But also, this offer comes once in a million years (especially for someone with a PA of 177)

Granted you would be able to buy like there's no tomorrow, but could you improve your team that much? I doubt it. Looking at your team, it's fantastic.
Who else around, at 20 years of age, is as good as Wijnaldum on your game?
Take my advice, and I'm not the only who will say reject it.

I asked for +£5M but they wont bid any higher. This will be a huge blow on their wealth, -£120M. In a season or 2 I can unsettle Wij hopefully and another team will buy him for my 50% extra.

Haha, you're right. Barca are too rich atm. Wij is the best youngster I've brought up. He's never had a problem with any of his tutors. Kroos isn't far from being as good as Wij, aged 21 valued at 21M, PA 178.
It's just the fact that I already have Kaka, Fernandez, Aguero, Higuain, Kroos, Giovani, Messi and Bojan who can all play AMC.
He would be a great asset to the team, but he isn't going to improve his stats and Silva looks a lot better, has a PA of 191, and will costa round 55M.
Decisions, decisions!

I still wouldnt. Ofcourse the offer is ridiculously good but the kid looks great and since you dont need the money and since you're selling to your fierce rivals, why would you want to sell?! Or maybe you could sell him now and then next season or in Jan buy him back. You should get him for under 50M I would think and since you have the 50% next transfer clause you'll probably make a nice killing on him for 6 months or a year!!
