Arsenal desperately need strikers? You're kidding right? RVP and Adebayor are two of the best in the game. Bendtner develops rapidly and becomes very good too. Although I've never had much luck with Eduardo, he's been very good for some. And even if he isnt, I'm sure he's a great backup no?
What Arsenal desperately need are wingers. All other positions are fine.
But none-the-less, if you still want a striker just get Fred. He would cost you around 13M at the start and he'll bang in goals for you. Play him with RVP and you wont go wrong. If not him, then get Jimmy Briand. Another excellent young striker. Would cost you about 11M. You can try to sign Benzema but he probably wont be interested and even if he is, he needs a little time to develop I think. He's available around 15M at the start.
Others you can look at are Rodrigo Palacio, Sergio Aguero (35M odd at the start but worth it), Klaas-Jan Huntelaar or Nicolas Anelka.
If you really feel you need to buy some new strikers, my top two are Kiessling and Gyan... them two together are pretty lethal... Or go for Kiessling and Manucharyan with the latter in the Rooney role... Nice stuff!
If you want to go for a slightly more physical ST, then you could try Gignac instead of Kiessling.
