I thought when you scout a division the scout actually picks games to watch and only ranks the players he sees in those matches. Surely 250 players are too many in such a short time.
I somewhat like the idea but it looks like it hasn't been implemented in a realistic fashion. Ideally the scout's ranking of these players would also be very vague and pretty off base if they're based on just one match and only if he watches players many times over the course of a season his judgment should be trusted. But since there is no history of which matches he watched this is rather pointless.
Maybe I'll raise these issues in the FM Forum and hope they're going to improve this feature. It's a nice touch but not realistic as of now.
