Aye, I know. I edited the post after I wrote it to add the ":p" hoping that would show I wasn't being serious, just sitting at work bored :p Apologies if it sounded like a serious criticism!

You'll find that all conference clubs have sticky finances though. Even the ones that start off with a healthy enough looking banks balance find it evapourates very fast. Having £5,000 transfer budget was quite a luxury though - you quite often have to make do with £0

Btw, in real life Farnborough were the club that got somewhat shafted when their manager left to take over Stevenage and took all the best players with him (not sure what else, if anything) so that is why they look in worse shape than many conference clubs
