Of course. If you can't scout a specific country, you can scout regions, keeping it as realistic as possible.

Don't say "you can", Kostis. SYB and SWYCT are guidelines to keep LLM as realistic as possible, and they're from CM3*.

As long as one is mature enough to attempt to keep things realistic (the old "should I?" not "can I justify it?") then it's cool.

Things fall apart when sending a scout from the Conference to Africa or South America, for instance.

Keep LLM clean.

I meant the region in which you are. In this instance, if he's in France, then he could probably scout Central Europe.

Technically, France is Western Europe, not Central Europe

Yeah, but its bordering countries are in Central Europe, except for Spain.

And Andorra. Would you send scouts there?

Depends how you define Central...if you include Iceland and heaven knows how far into Russia is still counted as Europe (I notice Kazakhstan compete in Euro championship qualifying, but my geography isn't good enough to know exactly where they are...) then I'd imagine the centre of Europe is somewhere around the Baltic

The way we usually get around that is to set one scout of that Nationality the specific task of scouting his own Nation once per season, like a Brazilian scouting Brazil for a Portuguese Club. He doesn't scout anywhere else.

Your game though.
