It's easier to argue a point when you've deliberately missed it, MITF

Not in 01/02 - there is no Western Europe. Central Europe is clearly acceptable for France. The only non-bordering country it scouts are Holland and Austria, both of which seem fairly reasonable IMO.

I take your point with Boulogne though, geographically it's a lot closer to England than Spain, just make sure you show em who's boss and send them on the ferry.

And btw, tell them to make sure they don't use the road to Calais. Last i heard of, it was full of ambushes

I never used scouting your borders. I have learned IRL, that lets say Slovenian teams will never go scouting Italy or Austria. Even Hungary is out of the question. But it is very much possible, that the scout will go about ex-yugoslavian countries.
And I think that Slovenia is not the only country with this phenomena.
Thus, I stick to SWYCT. It is more realistic that way.

Actually, if you only count those countries that really belong to Europe (Europe != UEFA), the center of Europe lies in the Ukraine. The European part of Russia is pretty small in comparison to the Asian part, but it's still about 1/3rd of Europe overall.

South?
I don't think so.
Anyway Europe as a continent ends at Ural mountains in Russia.

I've just looked at my Map (well, one from the internet)
The dead centre of Europe, including Cyprus as furthest South, Urals furthest East, Iceland North West. Is somewhere on the Northern Polish coast, Near Kalingrad
