Strange ratings occur in CM03-04 too, methinks. Example: the one striker gets one goal and 2 assists, but only a 7 on rating. The other does nothing too important, but still gets an 8.

If a striker had got one goal and 2 assists, i should know who would be my MoM.

That's as may be, but they're indispensable.

Btw, i don't know why SI have tuned them down after 4.1.3. I.e, a 9 or a 10 appear very rarely in 4.1.4, while they were more common in previous patches. I liked the CM01-02 ratings, they were very well tuned.

I always found the dribbles (Runs) contribute a bit much to the rating. And lost headers drag them down too much.

No goals, no assists between them. Tho I have seen an AI striker score a goal and end the match with a 4. Probably just stood around the other goal picking his nose until somebody smacked a shot off his head into the net. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I had one of my SCs score and get a 4. He pretty much did nothing else all game. I think he had about 6 attempted passes and made 1 or 2 of them.
I was actually relieved to see that, as on a prior patch, I'd seen a SC get MOM for a similar performance, which seemed a bit much. Still needs a little tuning, I think.
