Rmembering that I've been "out of the community" for about a year, are you saying here that LLMers like CM4.2 better because it's more realistic, but among other players there was a mass exodus back to 01/02? Or are you saying that last year's version sucked but this years is good?

When CM4 was released a lot of the LLaMas bought CM4 but went back to 01/02 'cos CM4 sucked. 03/04 is the bees knees.

I enjoyed CM4 to start, but the attribute bug just spoilt it too much for me when I was ~5 seasons in.

I can't be doing with having defenders who can't position themselves to save their life and wingers who would struggle to dribble the ball around 3 cones set a mile apart!

The financial model is the real killer in CM 03/04. Find yourself at a club with shaky financial grounds and you've got the job of a lifetime ahead of you :eek:

If it wasn't for good cup runs over the past two years which has netted the club I am managing over £600,000, we would be in recievership. Loosing over £50,000 per month at present and the tunnell I am looking down is dark and forboding. Releasing high paid players has not helped as much as I thought, as the replacements wages although respectable still are kicking us well over budget.

My fellow very respected Mod will most likely come down on me like a ton of bricks but if it wasn't for the prizemoney/gate takings from cups, the club would be in deep deep trouble. Good cup runs in CM0304 seems to be a necessity for finacial liability of LL clubs.

Awaits high explosive salvo from north of the border.
