Just refresh my memory, as we start a new page, this thred is about mods changing user names being a bit dodgy, and not playing by the rules

Are you sure? I once tried to sign a player who had rubbish stats for everything except long throws (18. The guy should've been a javelin thrower rather than a footballer). The board refused to let me sign him saying that they wouldn't release any funds for the transfer because they didn't think he was any good. So they do get involved in transfer activity sometimes.

Aye, when the *Ahem* command was used and you could see the Chairmen's stats there was one for "likely to interfere with transfers", if memory serves.
