....but why have mine started bringing me the names of Italian and Dutch teenagers when they are on youth search? They almost never brought me any British 16/17 year olds.

Is it because their boundaries for youth search automatically expand depending on division? I've just got promotion to the third. If that is the case, it's pretty poor.

Aye, it's one of those "scouting issues" we complain about. Like finding Caribbean players when scouting deepest GB&I.

I have had scouts looking at France and finding a player from somewhere like Morocco. When I looked at the player's history, he had been released from his contract the previous year and was available on a free.

To be fair, it does work sometimes. I think it's not been finished properly.

I just started a new game at Pau in the French National. Overjoyed at finding I already had a scout (and 3 physios :eek: ) I sent him packing to find some youth players.

The first guy he came back with was a MR from Kettering Reserves.

Porbably he wanted to achieve a balance, since Arsenal is importing so much French players

I had a couple of dutch players and a Nigerian on an English search last night! Maybe a new stat needed for Scouts, mapreading perhaps

I sent a scout off to Spain and he only found 2 Turks.
Although the one before him only found 2 Mexicans and a Nigerian, so I'm not sure what I was expecting.

How original of you , we only have half of the claifontaine youth academy and the current french squad, theres plenty more french players left for the others...

I had my scout searching Italy and he came back quite excited with a Brazilian who had just been released by Bolton. Of course I was in Serie C2 so he was way out of my league but at least my scout is trying hard!!

Hmm, socially-conscious scouts. Good to see that I'm paying all that money to people with brains.
Although I do recall asking them to find me players, not ruminate on multiculturalism.
