Arrived at Boston, a while ago (playing CM 01/02 no bugs in that game!!!), and have progressed along the way.

When i arrived i had a 14 year old who shall be known as Two Finger Joe, he has been subjected to sub appearances, the odd game, then moving through the ranks to been a key member of squad etc.

Then the obligatory international call ups and who is there Two Finger Joe he gets spotted by England under 21's, called up (even though he is 22 )

What a miracle seen as a couple of seasons i almost sold him to Sheff United for 100k.

having said all that he has gone back to the reserves because of the talents of my scout spotting talent of far superior quality.

mugsy, edit the name out. No names of players at all, even made-up names.

No made-up names? You're gonna hamper his creative development. Can we still mention the bucktoothed brazilian?

One of my players made his first full international (admittedly it was with Australia, but hey) and "with obvious emotion" thanked me for believing in him enough to push him to become that caliber player.

Made me mushy for a second.

Nicknames are fine. It's just when you use a real name even if made up, people might think you can name other players as well, blah blah, etc etc.

Posting it as a nickname makes it easier, plus I think my name is better. :p

What brought a tear to my eye was in Brazil when I won the WCC and got the standard "The XXXX supporters believe you are the best manager the club has ever had" message. But because I'd never won that much before it was the first time I'd seen it

After almost 20 seasons managing the club it brought a tear to the eye

Appart for my Wife grabbing me by the bollards  having spent 2 nights playing CM and ingnoring her (not due to an arguement, but just because my current save is chu*fin good)

Id have to say to purchace of a cpuple of lads on frees for northwhich. both 19 and both get their first call ups to the u21 international squads in their first season with me.

or my first win with Halesowen town this morning, which was their first ever win in the conference.

Once when I cut some piri-piri for my chili and had something in my eye and without thinking I rubbed it...

I won't ever forget that pain.

Once found myself in the bathroom holding an aerosol. A mental blank led my mind to believe I was about to spray deodorant.

Deep Heat on the armpits is not to be advised.

still better than using deodorant as aerosol. I once had a mental blank like that, spraying shave lotion on the armpits. It was 4 a.m. though and I was really not awake at that time.
