I followed this thread with some interest as I am new to CM and find that I really enjoy the approach you LLMers take to CM. Being a neophyte, I hope that I don't step on toes and that in the event that I do, please feel free to give me a gratuitous knock on the head.

The "from" is accurate for me, I admit it, I am that rare bird, an American who enjoys both kinds of football, and takes the time to enjoy both games by getting into the tactics of each. I have always enjoyed a product put out by a small publisher in this country called Front Office Football. It is the best simulation I have ever encountered in running an "American football" franchise.

I used to think it was the best simulator of any type until I ran into CM. This one has it beat hands down simply because it really allows you to develop "relationships" with your players. CM is not perfect, if it was, there would be no need for FM. But it is by far the most highly addictive, truly enjoyable sports sim I have ever played.

Sorry for the off topic rambling, I guess I now deserve one of those gratuitous knocks in the head.

I've been through Harrisburg, which is why I mentioned it. Plenty of Yankees on this board now.

And I know Front Office Football as I bought it for my brothers and father who are into American Football. I played it a little and it seems a good simulation.
