Apparently Firefox is based on the same architecture as Netscape, but look at it like this:

A Rover 400 used to have a nice 1800 engine, and that engine let it tootle along nicely, never offensive, with an old guy with a bonnet on driving it.

Lotus took that self-same engine and shoe-horned it into the Elise. Stripped-out muddafugga, with aluminium pedals, no carpets, no radio, and it goes like a weasel up a pipe. All of those extras can be added on, like the carpets, the radio, etc., but you can leave out the weight and go for speed.

Firefox rocks. :thup: I've been using it since it was still called Phoenix (several versions ago), and it was miles better than anything else then. It's getting better all the time, too.
Tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, ad-blocking and it's bloody fast too!
