Yeah but that seems to be a bug only affecting goalies, his judgment for other players is much more reliable.

But then again, wouldn't it be weird to distinguish between 2 players with almost identical sets of readings. By then, it would almost impossible to tell them apart.

I quite agree with you there, axl. Each player has his own personality, which is given to him through his attributes. So, i don't think that dropping completely the numeric values is such a good idea.

Also, would it really make a difference for you to know a player has an 18 as opposed to a 17 for heading? Would one score more headers than the other? With all the uncertainties in the game the differences among attributes are already washed out (as they should be). So apart from giving a player a distinct "personality" and maybe more importantly, to see the effects of training, the numbers don't really offer a whole lot of tangible information.

This is all very GQish stuff of course. Let's change that example with the headers to an 8 as opposed to a 7 to pretend we're in the right forum.

Just a quick question regarding the ethics of scouting, are you just supposed to post your scouts to a certain country, or are you allowed to manually search teams of and set your scouts to study individual players ?

Might sound a bit basic, but am just interested to know how everybody else does it.Thanks.

Scout your own country and be realistic about which other countries you are sending them to. Conference teams can't afford to scout Sweden or Brazil for instance.

For some LLMers this is the only way to find players.

Media reports and possibly some judicious use of the search screen to find loans/free transfers/transfer listed players may be possible if you think its realistic.

Each to their own.

(And how old is this thread? )

I would love to see a move away from the numbers. They can still use them in the background just don't make them visible to us. A 4-5 item scale from 'very poor' to 'excellent' would be much more realistic. Maybe as an extra option just like FOW, so people can decide for themselves which way they like better.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I wonder whether this would be possible with a skin. For example if a players passing is 10 then it would not show you that and instead display average or something.

Perhaps we could have an LLM skin like that? Any volunteers?
