Ok, please no flaming this is just a quick question. After reading the rules of the LLM forum i am just wondering if the use of the Nygreen scout is classed as an editor or not as it itself does not edit the game, it merely does a more comprehensive search, or does it break the "as SI intended" rule ?
Scouts are not the best in CM0304 and I have been an avid whinger of this shortfall in the game, but any sort of third party program that give you an unfair advantage is no no if you want to play LL in it's purist form. The same goes for the files that increase the number of available players in your country.
Scouts do find players and one thing that might not be know to you is by instructing your scout to scout a particular player, he will also find other players of note at the same time. You might have to scout these players to get an offical report but by using this means, you do find a number of quite good players all within the ethics of LLM.
Saying that, it is your game and you can do what you like.
I was just wondering what the group considered on the idea of scouts that was all. I am currently managing Castel di Sangro and have taken them to the Serie A, i will be honest and say that i did use the scout program as the ingame scouts and player search just arent good enough, but i have in no other way changed any other aspects of the game, the tactics and training methods are all mine and i havnt messed around with the finances.
What is this Nygreen scout thingy? Is it just a 3rd party editor that finds all the good players? Or does it work like scouts and find crap players too?
