What is this Nygreen scout thingy? Is it just a 3rd party editor that finds all the good players? Or does it work like scouts and find crap players too?

I was wondering that, too. It sounds like something I should be putting on my lawn

Maybe the reason why you took them so far so quickly, eh?

doesnt mean i have been able to sign and afford good players !!!! At the end of the day it only found good young portugese players for me, and since the days of CM3 i have always searched the lower leagues of portugal for players. So it didnt do much that i dont do anyway.
No i didnt use an editor, i used a scout program, but it only found players that i usually look for anyway. So wasnt a great help.
Just reread the "rules" and have just a few questions (again) so please no flaming as i am new to this thread.
Tactics - are we allowed to use tactics that we devised ourselves in previous games, or does it have to be a default tactic ?
Training - same as above really, are we allowed to use previous training regimes or does it have to be the default ones ?
Scouting - the SWYT or SYB, if i am in England, is Holland, Portugal, Spain and France available as (being pedantic now) easyjet etc etc fly there, so is readily available to most teams/budgets.
Signing players - the guidlines state that no player should be signed without being scouted, what happens if we look at a player and decide that he will fit into our team and dont want to wait to scout him, is that allowed ?
Thanks for your time guys.
One last question, how do you overcome the lack of ground expansion when you get succesful, or do you just suffer it constantly ?
You don't use 3rd party editors, or scouting programs, or anything else a RL manager does not have direct access to. It's all about realism.
Tactics-it has to be a defauult tactic, for me. Anyway, previous tactics don't work in the same way in different games, unless they take advantage of a serious AI flaw.
Training- you can't use previous knowledge in new games. That covers it.
Scouting- It has to be realistic. It depends on which division you're in. I.e, if you're in Conference, don't bother scouting anywhere further than your own division. Even Scotland might be a little far-fetched.
Signing players- you MUST scout a player before you sign him. Or, if he's on a free, invite him for a trial period.
All this has been covered time and again. If you read a few threads here and there, you could easily find the answers to your questions.
Scouting tools are just as bad as signing known wonderkids. It's no secret that a small number of excellent signings can make the difference between struggling in the Conference for years and marching all the way to the top getting rich along the way.
That's all fine if you play for yourself, it's your game etc etc, but attempting to excuse and rationalize this cheat is just pathetic.

What exactly are you on about with all this re: tactics and training? Agreed that tactics will need to be different for different sides, but LLM is not the same as NFEWM- No Football Experience Whatsoever Management. Same with training. Tell me how previous knowledge CAN'T be used from game to game. Again, its not NFEWM.
As for scouting, the guideline is SWYCT, not scout only your division. Scouts adjust their findings (perhaps overly so) to your level.
I think maybe you are introducing something entirely different here: KFM, which bears only a passing resemblance to LLM.
