Things just don't add up. In my current save I'm now at carlisl having moved avbout a bit. Wen I took the job they were pushing for promotion from the thrid, which they got, and they have now had 2 seasons in the second.
all fine but my youth team are all greys!! not a prob for most lower league sides but the reason I feel things don't add up is that Carlisle have had facilities and a youth acadamy since I took the job yet no one has appeared in my u19's in three years
is this a bug or the fact that they may have had the money to build it but now find they don't have the money to staff it?
Is there an option to sell the land to a developer to stick some flats on, and go buy some new players with the proffit
I know current form is shocking!
I used to live in whitehaven, about 40 mins form carlisle and it was trajic that the only professional team within an hour were so poo, thogh the seasons were never dull.
aside from getting promotion, having top facilities and a youth acadamy is unlikey on current form too
I've done most of the above things posted above at some stage of my game, besides hang around at a school. :o
Luck of the draw I reckon.
I've had seven young players coming through a couple of seasons ago, six the next but only one this season.
I did get a news item saying the board could not afford to give me any transfer money and I would have to rely on the promoted youth players to supplement the squad numbers.

I do!!
but that is in a professional capacity as a member of staff!!!
it's not a bad place to find footballing talent, we've got a couple of 12 year olds on the books at southampton. though I'm not sure if thats any use to me.
anyway I think its all up the swanny now as the board have spent all the nmoney I had on 5000 new seats, so no money to pay the wee fellas anyway.
