Recently I got CM3 on Xbox on the cheap. . .it's impossible to use an editor, there's no keyboard so you can't type in anything in the search box without a huge hassle, you can't "update" the database so your stuck with the original one (good thing of course).

Also, it's great fun to lay on the couch playing CM on a TV instead of sitting at the damn computer.

And I also remembered how bleeding damn difficult the game is. Conference, 15 games in, 1 win, 14 losses. I think it's great that CM3 actually makes you work on your tactics (can't speak for 03/04 though)...

Assessment: CM3 on Xbox - a great experience.

Sounds good, but i don't have Xbox. Bought my own PC about 3 months ago, so i'm stuck with it for the foreseeable future.

I used to have an xbox, and I have to say I found it a bit too easy.
I agree with the points you make, but its was too easy to get huge wads of cash for the most mediocre of your players. I personally find CM03/04 more of a challenge, especially with the large DB - I find it adds a new dimension to LLM that wasn't available on xbox
