Is it ok to not use the real player names and still be considered LLM?

i.e. uncheck that option when creating your league and have a fictional universe?

Do you guys find the game more or less challenging this way? I plan on taking Scarborough and since I've used them in every version of CM I've ever played, I've learned about their players.

I think the fictional version might be more interesting? Any comments from those who have tried it.

Never tried it myself, but if you are playing to any realistic form of LLM, then I don't see it would impact on the difficulty of the game at all.

In 01/02 I found the game a bit easier. Never done it in 03/04, though.

IIRC, when Jaffa did it he ended up with every nationality and then some at his wee lower league Scottish team.

It's much better now in 03/04. Some people have complained about funny regens names tho.
