Never seen those ones. Try GQ, they've seen everything

GQ will almost certainly help you. But to answer yor questions:

Yes, i've noticed the thing about extravagant spending, even though i had spent little or nothing. Maybe it depends on the financial situation of the team.

For the second one, you don't get the news bits in cm0304 that you got in cm0102, which informed you of whatever happened with bids for players you're interested in. No bug there, i think.

Just shooting in the dark here, but maybe the 'extravagant spending' includes the wage bill? Otherwise, no idea!

Same here. Had the message. Spent very little, and then the board gave me more transfer money than the previous year.

Cobbler pre-empted me by a couple of hours!

My first thought was "what about wages?" too.

I'm 18k below wage limit. And we're raking in the dough each year.

That's not bragging.

Bragging would be claiming we're now in the First Division while West Ham have slumped to the Second. And how we won two trophies last year. That would be bragging.

I think I understand the extravagant spending thing.

If you sell players, some of that money will be put back into your remaining transfer budget. You may think you haven't spent all your budget. You need to look on the transfer screen to check if your current transfers go over your amount that you had available at the beginning of the season.

If it is over the amount announced just before the season started, then you have gone over your budget.
