Portugal league can be fun. LFCfan has a lot to tell about that league.

Most of my time is now spent bumming around Portugal with one crap team after another.
Although the downsides can be pretty unattractive (one promotion spot per league; those feckin' 'B' teams; club reputations so low they make Spittlesbury Athletic seem like ManUre), the good points aren't too bad either (one promotion spot per league; Brazil, brazilian players and the interesting interpretation of "EU National" ; the challenge of knocking Porto, Sporting or Benfica off the top).
All in all, it's not a bad league to have a knock-around in.
