I'm running 4.1.4, and there's an (literally) unreal dearth of physios. I'm not asking for advice as to how to get them. I'm asking if I set my game up wrong or something. In LLM, I don't really want to spend E30,000 for the rights to a physio either.

Nah, physios are easy to get. Now, on the other hand, assistant managers..

However, I still believe that this shortage issues are mainly due to the database setting and to how many leagues you are running...

I'm finding it is also dependent on which countries you have running. Some countries have heaps of unemployed scouts at the start of the game, while oother countries might have excess physios. So as our ex-recycled friend says, it does depend on which leagues you are running as well as the size of your data base.


I got hold of a strange physio the other day.

I've always found they have a high number for physio and naff all for the rest. This guy was better than some of my coaches in coaching stats, plus the maximum number in his prime attribute, and he was classed as a Physio and not a Coach. And he was a cheap as chips to hire.

Must be a regen thingy.

This also becomes a problem later on with other non-playing staff. Specially since now, almost no player wants to be coach

That's weird... because in my Spainfull save I currently have a staff formed by one ex-international retired player as assistant and two retired players as coaches... (2011 btw)

So what I'm hearing is that the number of non-playing staff isn't consistent from savegame to savegame, huh? Ugh.
