Default Spanish "Copa del Rey"

Hello everybody

I don't know where to put this topic. So I put it here !

I saw many questions about the Spanish Cup rules
Here are there !!!!

81 teams are allowed to play this cup :
- 20 from 1st Div (Primera Division)
- 22 from 2nd Div (Segunda Division)
- 22 from 2nd Div B (Segunda Division B)
- 17 from 3rd Div (Tercera Division)

- the 17 teams from 3rd Div are the champions of each group of 3rd Div during last season.
- the 22 teams from 2nd Div B are the first 5 non reserve teams of each group of 2nd Div B during last season (there are 4 groups), and the best 2 teams.
- the 22 teams from 2nd Div.
- the 20 teams from 1st Div.

there is a preliminary round with :
- the 17 teams from 3rd Div,
- 17 from 22 teams from 2nd Div B (generally, the 4 promoted teams to 2nd Div don't play this round),

after that, the 17 winning teams of this round play against all other teams, with no care about the div they're coming from). smaller teams play at home against bigger teams.

each round is played on 2 matches except the 1/32 and 1/16 on 1 match, and of course the final.

sorry for my bad english, I'm french

Your English is better than most native English speakers.

Thanks for the information. I didn't understand the system and your explanation is clear and concise.

However, even though kaiowas has made an extragood clarification of the Spa Copa del Rey RL workings, I believe that the game does somewhat mess it up a bit...IIRC

Sophie's made no effort to get back in touch recently, so the chapter is closed as far as I'm concerned. Same with Zine. Sophie's just gone ignorant on us both, as if our friendship and how we supported her in France meant nothing.
