I consider it a testament to my LLaManess that I have no idea what midfielder guy you lot are on about.

You are very fortunate that you don't know who he is talking about. Like Stephanie Mac etc I have converted to Llamaness and find it extremely enjoyable, after a lot of time hanging around the good player and tactic forums. But it is very diificult to forget those 'game engine exploiting' tips that you pick up. It will be rather annoying when (if) my scouts pick up and recommend a player i know to be a god and i can't buy him....
mind you, at the moment buying a player is just a fantasy anyway!

My scouts rarely recommend any players that don't turn out to be total donkeys, so you've not really got much chance of this scenario happening.

But, if your scouts do recommend such a player and you're happy that you have found them realistically, then I don't see why you can't sign them. That's kinda the point. Not signing anyone that you have any previous knowledge of (as opposed to not using your previous knowledge to decide which players to sign) is maximum zealotry to be fair.

I think whoever discovers whom this mystery midfielder is, should name him here (under great peril), and then said member naming person type will be burned at the stake for being a witch.
