Does anyone else think that media predicitions in this game fail to look at the whole picture of a team? I will give you a example in my game.
Everton has held their place in the Premiership for the first eight seasons, everything going fine with them, but a bad run of luck along with some poor decisions and they fall to the Championship. They go all out to make their way back up, pickup some nice players, hire and new manager, and dominate for a season. After getting promoted the offseason makes it apparent that this team is in some real financial trouble, they pick up 2 free transfers, but several of their top players have to be sold. By November they are sitting with 8 points on 14...........very bad, but then the full effect of their debt comes to pass and they go into recievership. Now skip ahead to October of the following season. Obviously they dropped, and they are doing their best at offloading anyone they can get anything for (or just get rid of the players salary on free) but still 11 months in receivership. The media however coming into the season expected this team to finish 2nd? Now I am not managing the team, and I love to see the free fall of teams as well, but WOW. This team is in total default and looks like no chance of a new board. Just seems like the media would at least consider factors like this.
