Kevin keegan should get 20 for motivation which is obious as newcastle cruised to a 4-1 victory last night when they saw keegan watching them and lost 6-0 the last match when sam alladyce was in charge. Also 20 for determination as i read his timeline on msn and he is VERY VERY determined to make newcastle as big as man utd.

So is mike ashley the chairman said he would fund them with over 40 mil available in this transfer window to him and next season claims that he will add 35 million to his already 40 mil available.

It looks like newcastle are going to turn into the new man utd.

Sam Allardyce was not in charge when they lost 6-0.
They will not be the new Man Utd.
You can't buy much for £40m. He'll still have mostly the same average players. Needs a whole new defence and midfield.

Firstly Keegan was only watching not managing and please all you barcodes out their yes you won 4-1 but it was stoke not chelsea calm down.
Secondly Big Sam wasn't incharge for the 6-0 drubbing.
I imagine Keegan's stats if hes not in the database will be determined from what he does till the data update.
I can understand Newcastle Fans being excited but demanding that he be given extremly high stats because of one result against a lower league team for a game he wasn't incharge of is silly. And to all of the Newcastle fans saying he is the "best" manager in the world last time he was there you came close but you didnt win anything.
Giving him 20 motivation would be higher than Roy Keane who took a struggling team from bottom of the championship to winning it with an 18 game unbeaten run in one season it would also be much higher than many other proven managers.

Did Keegan not save a struggling Newcastle from Championship/Div 1 relegation at the end of one season and then walk the league the next season - similar to Keane's performance at Sunderland - and then take Newcastle to 3rd in his first season in the Premiership without having to spend nearly £40m?

Which would suggest that if you were comparing the two on their achievements at the start of their respective managerial careers that Keegan should have the better rating.

The idea that he is a motivator and not a tactician is a myth. Simply put, he's neither. He could neither motivate England to many stirring performances (one game against Poland where Scholes got a hattrick springs to mind, however), but losing against the Auld Enemy? The performance was utterly inept and no-one looked motivated. Man City players motivated? They often looked demoralised, surely the opposite of motivated?

Fulham was different - he had lots of money to spend, he did do well for sure, but he's not the fantastic motivator everyone thinks he is IMO. Just my view.

I've just added him to my database and gave him a 12 or a 13 for motivating, which I think is about right. As for pressure - that's easy, it was about 3 or 4.
