Am managing in the French top flight, had to select my squad numbers for the coming season, yet come the first game all my players are unavailable? Can anyone help?

That'll be the registration bug. I'm told it's avoidable if you pay close attention to your news items. As far as I know, there's nothing you can do now.

Seriously?!? What a joke! Was just starting to enjoy that game as well! Have it saved something like a month before the season starts so will see if anything comes up in my news items...

Bug comes up in any country that has reserve squads playing in a loaded competition. France, Spain, and Germany come immeadiately to mind ...

Can someone explain to me what happens with this bug?

Say for EG I am managing a French squad, I get the notice to say "register your players for the season" etc, I submit squad numbers and then all is fine? OR does the game un register the players after you register them? In that case is it safe to just register them on the final day of the registration?

I've played a few seasons in the french ligue 1 or 2 , and in spain as well , and I never come accross this. ( this registration was already in previous versions, not for the french though ...) As already said, you just have to pay attention to your news and register your players on time so that they are eligible for the coming season.
The real problem is that there should be some "warnings or something like a second confirmation email of the eligible players list " to avoid this kind of situation. I believe Si is well aware of this issue now ... :-)

I hate this bug I usually have the English, French and Spanish leagues as playable but now I dont bother with anything other than England now.

The question here is, do you have the CFA loaded? If not, you'll never see the bug ...
