I've downloaded the 8.0.1 patch, but despite this everytime I put in my game and check for updates it keeps telling me that a newer version is available. Then takes me to SI site, where I cant even find the patch I already downloaded yet altho a newer one.

There is no 8.0.2 and there are various threads throughout this forum telling us how irritated people are that there is no 8.0.2. Stop hitting updates or turn off automatic scan for updates and put your feet up and wait till Feb some time.
