Default Surprise England call-ups

With capello's first england squad to be announced fairly soon, and everyone wondering who he will call up, be it the regulars or some surprise names (hopefully leon osman!), I was wondering, has anyone seen any strange call ups on FM08 to the England squad? (within first two or three seasons)

In the World Cup 2010 qualifying games, Richard Wood, Elliot Ward and Liam Rosenior were all called up but dont think any got a cap but were in about 4 or 5 squads.
As been mentioned in other posts Billy Sharp was on fire in my game and still no call up

Playing as Villa Isiah Osbourne made his full England debut in my 3rd season. Have trained him up really well though.

I had The Walcott on loan.

He scored 35 goals in one season.

Not only did he not get an England call up he wasn't even picked for the under 21's world cup.

Matthew Sadler from Birmingham has been called up.

He was godly against me, so Mcclaren may have got something right!
then again, he picked Andy Johnson in front of my Darren Bent. Not very smart i would say.

When i'm England manager on FM i always choose the highest scoring striker from League 2. Gets a shock reaction, but is a good laugh when they score in an international.
