Okay, so after winning everything in my first 2 seasons at Barca, I need a challenge.
I plan to start a new game from the very bottom with a view to working up to working for bigger teams and hopefully improving my chosen club along the way.
My question to you is this; who shall I play as? Please feel free to pass on any advice about good or bad experiences you have had in managing in this league with the teams that you chose to manage.
Thanks in advance guys, I look forward to reading your comments...

Basically, you holiday for 1 full season before taking over a club that has been promoted, (in your case into Conference North), and you go from there. Your reputation should be set to "Sunday league footballer".
To make it more of a challenge you should also play by LLM rules.
If you like the look of the dafuge challenge and the LLM rules then maybe I would suggest Gundo's challenge as a better alternative as the feeder rules take the gloss of the Engliush structure at the moment.
Anyway, good luck.

Good idea my friend. Thats exactly what I did.
Started at Workington on Automatic.
Worked my way slowly up, getting bigger and better teams (then sometimes smaller and worse teams...)
Workington
Lewes
Bari
Catania
Arrezzo
Numancia
Queens Park
Plymouth
Seville
Tottenham
Still only 38, so I got a loooooooong career ahead of me. Makes it so much more fun to play when you start at the bottom.
TOP TIP : spend ages, and I mean ages trawling the free transfers. I spent many hours right-clicking each freebie to see if my assistant thought he was worth signing, cos I'm not able to judge myself. Picked up some great players, which is very handy, cos I had no money to spend till 2018!

It's a new club, founded in 2007. They are one of the worst teams.
They are given birth by the fusion of Moor Green and Solihull Borough.
Their players are crap, even to Conference League standards.
You have almost no money. You only will be able to sign free players or to loan them.
It’s having a small ground that can hold 3000 people.
I’m playing now for a long time with them and it’s really fun. The Chairman is a relaxed guy.
I’m currently in the Coca Cola League since I couldn’t avoid regulation from the Premier League last year.
Here you can find some more info about this marvellous team:

Guys, thank you all for your replies to my thread.
I am very excited to take up this new challenge and all of your posts have helped me with my decisions.
SWARF - you can be my mentor! It sounds like the kind of career that I would like to have and will strive to have. If I can do half as well as you have I will be chuffed. The transfer tip is a good one, thank you
PatrickBateman, you have inspired me to accept your challenge of Solihull. I live not too far away and so know bits of the history of the club. Indeed, a distant relative of mine played for them but that may have been nearly 20 years a go now.
The journey begins tonight, cheers again guys
