I've started a European update with Belgium (beginning of the alphabet, heh). Now I have the transfers sorted out (Lucas Biglia to Anderlecht, eh?) but the continental cups are giving me some trouble.
Do I have this correct?
1. Anderlecht finished 1st so they are #2 seed in the Champions League.
2. Standard finished 2nd so they are #3 seed in the Champions League.
3. Club Brugge finished 3rd so they are #2 seed in the UEFA Cup.
3.5. Zulte Waregem won the Belgian Cup so they are #1 seed in the UEFA Cup.
4. AA Gent finished 4th so they are #2 seed in the Inter-Toto Cup.
5. Genk finished 5th so they are #3 seed in the Inter-Toto Cup.
6. Zulte Waregem finished 6th but they are already in the UEFA Cup because of their Belgian Cup victory.
7. Germinal Beerschot finished 7th. Do they get any cups?
If Belgium still have a UEFA Cup place left, and your cup winner already qualified due to the league, the cup runner up is given the spot. If both cup winner and runner up qualified due to league place, an extra league place is used to decide the qualifier.
top 10 nations, Spain, England, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Holland, Greece, Belgium & Scotland all require 2 inter-toto cup contenders as the game (fm06) uses the old ITC system.
Also, as portugal are not entering (inter-toto), you are required to enter 2 contendors to fill their slots, Inverness CT, are next on the waiting list, plus one more (I reccommend Middlesbourgh for being runners up of UEFA cup)
all right, thanks for all the help guys. once I get rid of all the injuries and loans (unless, of course, they last later than July 1, 2006) then Belgium will be done.
the promotions and relegations took a long time... 3 playable leagues, 4 playable divisions... but I got it to work. ran a 5 year holiday game and no promotion bugs or anything -_-

has it got the correct redistribution of teams in the third division a and b? and is kbhz deleted from the game? if you want more transfers in the lower leagues i can get you those if you want...just let me know
