I was editing fc united and trying to put them in the conference north, then i tried to start a new game and there was no england to choose from, then i went back onto the editor and england is still there, i do not have any idea how it disaperaed, could some one please help it would be much appreciated.

It will disappear when something that shouldn't happen... does. In other words when you have done something stupid to the db. It would take more than a simple team swap to do that (ps. use an edt file to swap teams around for this instead of edit the db)

for an edt command... (assuming you are not using a data update)

open notepad.. enter the following in:

Save as... Change *.txt to All files...

Go to the db folder, usually

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db

and save it there called "fc-united.edt"

To turn it off, simply uncheck it in the preference screen in game. Enjoy.

thankyou but i still cant figure how to get england to show up as antions on the new gme, yet it is still on the editor and nothing has changed.

You've done something wrong in the database.

Just restore to the backup you made before messing around with it and use the edt file method explained above.

could yuo just re install your cd and the whole game would be bcak.

wooooooooooo fixed it went back to the editor and just remebered what i didm i guess i put fcunited as a proffesional team instead of semi proffesional.
