I was going through my database, putting in new transfers from around the world, and have a problem.
When swapping players I like to give the team giving up that player the amount they recieved in real life. Problem is nearly all transfers in FM go for much more than they would in real life. So if a team in FM is giving up a player they could normally sell in FM for €15m but I put in the real amount they actually recieved for that player, which is say €3m then how is this fair?
Should I give them the amount the players actually worth in FM or stick to the real transfer values?
Realism is always a big plus for me in any data update but it would also be realistic that if a team sold a player in real life for €3m then they could also buy a player of the same skill or even greater skill if they buy from abroad. They will not be able to do this in FM though since a €15m is much better than most €3m players.
