Same here- I think the best thing about having a DMC is that he can fill the gap between centre-backs if your side is strectched.

I find that playing with two DMC's in a 4-4-2 is only really effective when playing against an attacking formation.

Usually this should be employed against a team in a tight game, when you are winning by a goal or two with 10-15 mins left.

I would personally just alter the standard 4-4-2 or 4-4-2 defensive formations in order to accomidate the two DMC's ensuring that both have high tackling attributes.

You may then choose to counter attack if you have quick wingers / strikes. Works for me!

I'm currently trying to emulate the 1998 Arsenal formation, and it contains two DM->Cm's, as i beleive both Vieira and Petit were box-to-box midfielders...

It's also my first attempt at a "run onto ball" target man, trying to emulate Anelka...

i might give this a go. i can remember someone having a good 442 with 2 box to box DMCs with arrow up to the CM position in FM06. defensivly it should be very solid so should really be getting 1 or 2-0 wins.

I only use two dmc aginst stronger oppostion than me away from home. also dont inter and r.madrid use two dmc irl
