I have had two players training a new position for about 2 months and both been playing in that position regulalrly in the first team and neither of them even have an "unconvincing" position there yet. How long should it take for them to accomplish the position?

do the players have several positions they can play in (at any level of expertise). this is a sign of adaptability.

if for example they are natural in more than one position, competent in another and are awkward in say another 4, they're probably quite versatile and will learn new positions much faster.

I'm pretty sure adaptability is a hidden attribute out of 20, which determines how well/quickly a player will adapt to new positions.

i thought adaptability was for simple things like recruiting the serb 17yr old to your squad
and then trying to beat your instructions into him when he doesnt understand english
