Ive read it many times, but before today I never really believed that it happened.
I have been playing 4-3-1-2 for the past 5 seasons at Spurs and have had some good success, but just recently the opposition have been getting good results - so was wondering how do I get around this situation, without a change in formation.

If so, perhaps you've slowly eroded away the player core that tactic worked best for... And now need a new one for the new players.

Think how Arsenal's playing style changed between 1998 and 2006... we had fast coutner attacking, slowly morphed into a more possession in final 3rd, while a man marking solid back 4 morphed into a pacey defence. We changed from two DM's to a DM/playmaker combo...
