Hi,
In the past ive tried to be leeds and get them up to the [remiership, but everytime i find myself mid table or lower. Ive tried about 4 times (before and with the new patch)

So what im asking you is to give me some help with tactics and training (in the past my finishing has been terrible) im doing my frendlies and signing the players i want.

So when im done i will update with my team (finalized) and will tell you my first opposition i meet in the season.

And you guys can help me with my training and tactics for the 1st game.


Help will be much aprreciated.

Here is my team for the forthcoming 2006/07 season

Leeds Team

My 1st opposition is Southend at home. It would be great to get of to a winning start so you tacticians and trainees out there please help me. I wont start the game until i get a good tactic.

Jimmy, this link will probably be closed soon since you are transgressing against the sacred code.

My advice is;
1)Find Fuss v4-(apparently people are struggling a bit-but keep trying-maybe google? Its a 442 tactic-sorry if you want to do something 'different'.

2) Don't follow it slavishly-my advice would be to take off (for now) individual instructions for
-run with ball
-crossing
-through ball
-longshots
Take off 'tight marking' for the defenders (and probably forward runs for the FBs)

3) Put your best team in, noting that you NEED a target man who has to be good in
-jumping
-heading
-strength
The target man goes into the central striker role (and you MUST transfer the name of this player to the 'Target Man' box.

4) Now, adjust those individual sliders we took off to be tailored to your players.
For a Championship side a good rule of thumb is;
below 11 rarely
12-13 mixed
14+ often
(note this can be pain if you make a lot of changes in game or if you want to play your kids in the Mickey Mouse Cup)

5) Follow some of the advice about switching things about at half time (not all of it)

6) Have fun (even if things go t*ts up)
