Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Hey Guys.

Having a little trouble as wolves manager on football manage 2008. i seem to be fine away from home, playing on the counter attack, but at home i struggle badly.

my first team is;

Stack
Edwards
M Gray
Collins
Breen

Kightly
Johnnie Jackson (bought from Colchester)
Glenn Whealen (Bought from sheff wed)
Potter

Elliot
Eastwood

Subs;
Henesey
Karl Henry
Kevin Foley
Mulgrew
Keogh

I play a very standard formation. with attacking fullbacks, and defenders staying put. i try and get the ball wide and my wingers to attack the full back and get to the goal line. my central midfielders are split, as in one attacks more than the other who sits.

i hope that is enough ifo, if anyone requires more, feel free to ask.

I had a very succesful Wolves game on the previous patch using the B1G D formation.

Eastwood upfront as a lone striker scored jsut over a goal per game in the championship, and just under a goal a game in the premiership. I think i finished 7th in the first season in the prem and went up 2nd place from the Championship.

I signed Gabriel Torje for the right side of midfield and managed to get 1.5million for Kightly.

Try eastwood upfront on his own?

especially away, get another man in midfield to tighten up, and Eastwood will hit them on the counter. lovely stuff.

sorry double post.
