I'm forest and I bought him a year ago sent him on loan.
He's back now and I'm in the Premiership for the first time.
Should I play him even though I have got:

Depends who you're playing with. His physical stats are a pretty poor for me (off the top of my head):

Pace: 13
Stamina: 09
Strength: 14

But that might be down to how i've trained him. Odd, though, that everyone else on that regime has improved.

Other key stats for me:

Dribbling: 18
Finishing: 17
Heading: 12

First two not bad but without the physique and mental stats they're not worth much. How is he on yours?

If you're a low profile team, try him alongside a big, strong fella with good heading.

I have Stancu and Haynes up front in Leeds's first year back in the prem (2009/10) and they have 12 in 20 games and 9 in 15 respectively. Doudin is a rather miserable backup and thinks he's acheived all he can here. 2 goals in 4 starts and 6 subs.

I can never sign Alex cos of work permit probs, no matter how high I set his importance. Most folk play him as an AMC or attacking winger with a big man up front.

I have never had enough money for stancu and he has now gone to real madrid.
Can anyone think of a big man up front who is Premiership quality and is quite young?
Remember this is my first season in the Premiership so I can't get big names. I have nearly £11m but I'd rather not spend it only on one player. I'm in 09/10 season

Andy Carroll at Newcastle is amazing in my game in 2010 - [about] 17 finishing, 16 heading, 20 strength, 17 pace. Not sure how much he's worth in transfer terms but "value" is around 5m. Sorry if this is a bit vague - I don't have a screenie to hand.

Many people here swear by Eddie Johnson, but it depends where he's at by 2010. I've not signed him on '08 but on '07 he scored more goals than games played some seasons.

Is Adriano playing regularly at AC? Sometimes he can be snatched for 8-10m.

Ruud Van Nistelroy will be getting on a bit, so he might be willing to go to Forest for a season or two, but lacking a bit of pace - would be a good tutor for your youngsters, tho. Wages might be a problem.

Stancu's hardly a big man, but strong and holds the ball up well.

Send a scout to Spain and Italy if you're looking for strong veterans (which I find are handy for your first season back up), but go for the Netherlands or Eastern Europe for some bargains. If you have a large database and/or South American countries loaded, there's bargains to be had in Columbia, Argentina (mainly regens) and i'm sure plenty of others.

In my save Christian Vieri was available on a free, and all his stats looked top-notch except pace (5) and stamina (10). Great heading, strength, finishing, and mental stats. Super-sub anyone?

Doudin does okay but only alongside a world-class fellow. I'm selling him shortly as I have plenty of better forwards and need to sort out my midfield.

I've been looking at Tomas Pekhart at Tottenham and he looks a decent player but Tottenham are unlikely to sell him at a young age to someone who is in the same division as them.
