Also look at Max Noble at Fulham, I think he's Welsh.
And you must also get Adrien from Sporting Lisbon, will cost about £500k and Saivet from Bordeaux for the same. They, like Lulinha, have awesome potential!

Hleb is actually very good mate. Just keep faith in him. He doesnt do a lot from what you see (ie, not too many goals and not a huge number of assists) but he still manages a season AR of 7.4 and above everytime for me. Put him on AMR with an arrow pointing inside to the AMC position and give him a free role. Not the best in the business, but good none-the-less. Also put his long shots to rarely as he's terrible at shooting.

With Walcott, give him the same instructions as Hleb except no free role and no arrow pointing inside. Its best to get him on after about 60 mins when the defenders tire a little. And put a striker who can head the ball well on the near post then. Bendtner and Walcott used to combine for a lot of goals for me with this tactic. Just give Theo time.

About Robert Green - he's not the best around. Not by a long shot. But I find he's better than Robinson and he's as good as Almunia. Since you want an English GK only, he's the best option. Carson & Foster might be worth a look as well. But Preston Edwards is the best future prospect. If you're happy with any British GK, then Craig Gordon is the way to go.

I definately will let walcott take as long as he needs. Hleb is ok but if i could sell him and get someone a little more prolific I would.

If i get Johnson from Man c I will have Him, Richards, Owen, Walcott. Maybe could go with Young or Bentlet or even Giles Barnes. All around first team action. I suppose I could go with any Nationality GK.

Everbody seems to prefer the Russian Keeper. I always go for Frey in previous Versions. What do you think of him???

After a lot of negotiation, the lowest I got it down to was 78M! But that was just a game where I was finding my feet in FM08.

Totti - no, not worth it. He too would cost you more than 30M.

Henry - yep. I got him back in one save in season 2. He's happy to come as he hardly plays for Barca sadly. I got him for as low as 14M. But you should be able to land him for anything between 14-22M. Well worth it as he'll give you atleast 3 more years at his best. I got him and he scored a hat-trick against Man Utd in the Community Shield - his first match back!!

Dean Ashton is decent too. He's very consistent for sure but I wouldnt sign him. He's out of contract in season 3 and if he doesnt sign a new one, I'll probably consider it. But not otherwise. If you're happy going for a BRITISH player rather than only English, you could look at Kevin Doyle. Good player.

Other potential English players you can look at are:
- Michael Mancienne, Jack Hobbs, Nedum Onuoha, Steven Taylor for your defence. You could look to get Fabrice Muamba back from B'ham. He turns out into a good DM.

- Jose Baxter, Scott Sinclair, Michael Woods, Andy Carroll, Daniel Sturridge & James Vaughan for your midfield/attack.
