Hi, I recently took over as Man City manager, I am 8th in the league and the board just accepted offers for Richards, Corluka and Elano, my 3 best players. I have received £80 million in total for the 3.

I am in my 2nd season and was wondering if someone can help me recommend 2 good midfielders (20mill or less each) and 2 goot defenders (one CB and one right back) for 20 mill or less each?

I guess it depends on what midfield position, but all those players are class and should be in your price range with money to spare.

You might get Lahm for 20-23m.

Van der Vaart is a good replacement for Elano.

Riquelme, but i've never tried him on FM08.

Try and pick up AM/F Dalla Valle and AM RLC Wijnhalm (sp?) as hot prospects for the centre of the park. Will be good in cups against lower teams.

Zaccardo for RB. Covers CB too.

Defo Breno, as others have said, and look for Felipe who starts at Udinese.
