Yep, also agree to an extent. This time round I picked up a couple of new finds like:

David Luiz DC @ Sao Paolo
Sylvain Marveaux AMLC @ Stade Rennais
Henok Goitom ST @ Murcia
Diego Benaglio GK @ Lazio

Plus a couple of others I like but are not constantly quoted on here.
Steven Defour AMC @ Standard
Benoit Pedretti MC @ Auxerre

Well I don't think there mentioned a lot, or i've missed most of the threads.

Depending on what club, I always see who's on the transfer list and then filter it to exclude unrealistic targets.

Barzagli - it's like building a 10ft wall across the edge of your box.

I actively avoid signing the same players each time around, kinda takes the fun out of things if you sign someone you already know is going to turn out to be amazing. For me anyway.

This time around I bought Mads Laudrup(MC), Porritt(AMR/L), Andrew Howell(DL), Andronic(DC) and Doudin(S). Looking good so far but only time will tell

Adriano. Has been great for me in FM 2007 and again in FM2008. Partners incredibly well with Fernando Torres at Liverpool in my game.
