At newcastle, agreed a fee and personal terms to get Gyan off Udinese for £5m. Im undecided as i already have viduka,owen etc and feel maybe i should invest in maybe a 2 defensive players instead, even though i have signed flamini and samba from blackburn. What is evryone else's thoughts? Based on my fm07 experience i think it sounds like a good deal.

get him, thats a great price! And you can always play him on the right wing if you want to keep playing viduka, owen etc up front.

What position does Gyan play in? Never used him but I do need some cheap reinforcements for my Sporting squad (5m is cheap since the board just supplied me with 13 millions).

Id definetly say accept for a team like Newcastle he would be brilliant hes young and can play right wing along with striker. As for Viduka hes good but only for 1 season hes getting old and wont be able to perform at Premier League level soon, think of gyan for now and the future!

Who is the better striker, Gyan or Jimmy Briand? Gyan is cheaper, but I'm seeing him suggested around a lot.
