I am fast approaching January with Aston Villa. Doing well, 4th in what is turning out to be a tight league. When all available my first team is as follows:
GK Carson
DL Guilherme
DR Hutton
DC Cahill (playing well' touted the next Terry Butcher)
DC Davies
Breno is already coming in Jan and Lulinha for the summer (in my game he has a PA of 198!!) and Saivet in my reserves has a PA of 191.
I have about £10m to spend if required so what areas do you feel need to be strengthened?
Also can anybody recommend a goalkeeper for the second season to replace Carson when he rejoins Liverpool?

I reckon your team is pretty good, as Kimster said though, maybe a new Keeper, Enyemea - excuse the spelling, is definately a cheap option to look at. If you think your team is good enough to keep 4th i'd keep most of the transfer budget till then and save up for a Briand or someone
guilherme up front from cruzeiro, turned brilliant on my villa file. felipe from santos also turned into a wonderkid on my villa file, both pricey though...
